Research into Practice Events

Research-into-Practice is an informal forum for practitioners who work in the family law system: FDRPs, Family Mediators, Family Counsellors, Lawyers, Child Counsellors, everyone is welcome. We are a gathering of practitioners from all over Australia, Canada and the world.

We gather online in a similar format to a book-club, with the intention of discussing two or three articles around a theme. Each month Jon will distribute reading materials to each participant 7 days prior to the forum. The group then gathers to explore how (and whether) the author’s thoughts can be applied in practice. We discuss cases, theory and practice, all generated from the month’s theme.

Jon will host each forum as a Zoom meeting for up to 12 participants.
